ANOMALY: Converse
The "Shoe String" campaign launched with print, OOH and massive amounts of content contained in "Domaination". Domaination was bred out of late night conversation on how to make dumb content to reach teens. So it became a Google ad takeover based on teen search behaviors like "How do I French kiss" right before prom season. Over the next months we filmed stoopid stuff for the longest day of the year, the national spelling bee, prom season and many more big search moments. I even sunk a pair of white Chucks in 15 gallons of Coke and filmed what happened to them over the course of several months. My desk was an interesting place. (They turned a lovely Coke patina.)
The campaign included print, enormous OOH and store windows and displays. It went on to win awards and was worth every late night pizza.
